$2,000 in Car Parts Stolen from Annapolis Home
Police say someone stole four alloy rims from a basement on Royal Street.
Someone stole $2,000 worth of car rims from a basement last week in the 900 block of Royal Street, according to Annapolis Police.
The homeowner returned at 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday and discovered that someone had damaged the front door frame, police said. When the homeowner searched the home, there were reportedly four 24-inch alloy rims for a Lexus vehicle missing from the basement.
The rims weren't reported as stolen until Friday because the homeowner was in the process of leaving town for Thanksgiving at the time of the theft, according to a police report.
