Anne Arundel Patch: What do you like about your school?
Connor: They have very good, interesting teachers and a challenging, but fun, curriculum. Earlier this month, our whole middle school went on a field trip for math to watch the Washington Capitals practice and meet a player. Our math teacher, Ms. Kolarik, won this opportunity by submitting a lesson plan that incorporated Caps spirit. We used the hockey players’ shots to learn about angles in geometry. It was pretty cool.

Anne Arundel Patch: What do you want to do when you grow up?
Connor: I want to be a professional soccer or basketball player, and after retiring from playing, I want to still be involved in sports as a coach, agent, or broadcaster.

Connor: Play soccer and basketball, hang out with my friends, and travel to new places with my family.
