Annapolis Man Arrested For Assaulting Woman At Home
Police said that Colando Colbert allegedly held a knife to a woman's chest in order to get inside her house.
An Annapolis man reportedly used a knife to gain entry into a woman's home in the 1100 block of Madison Street Saturday, July 21, according to the Annapolis Police Department.
The woman answered a knock at her door shortly before 11:30 p.m., and a man identified as Colando Colbert, 36, forced his way in by holding a knife to her chest.
She was able to flee and called the police.
Colbert was caught and charged with first-, third- and fourth-degree burglary. Annapolis Police also charged him with first- and second-degree assault, possession of a dangerous weapon with intent to injure, reckless endangerment and false imprisonment.
Colbert is being held without bail at the Jennifer Road Detention Center.
