Annapolis Police: Multiple Thefts from Vehicles
Police report that items—ranging from tires to a Coach purse containing iPods—were removed from vehicles, and a car was taken when the owner left it running outside to warm up.
Here's a roundup of police incidents in the city of Annapolis from Jan. 29 to Feb. 3, according to Annapolis Police.
Jan. 29: Theft from Vehicle, 900 block of West Street
- An unknown subject removed a total of four wheels and Kumho Solus KH25 tires from two vehicles.
Jan. 30: Theft from Vehicle, Unit block of Bristol Drive
- An unknown subject removed an Excalibur Ibex crossbow, a TomTom GPS unit, and a large backpack containing miscellaneous hunting accessories from a vehicle. There was no sign of forced entry to the vehicle.
Feb. 2: Theft from Vehicle, 200 block of Hilltop Lane
- An unknown subject smashed windows in two vehicles and removed a Coach purse containing blue and purple iPod Nanos from one vehicle and a Louis Vuitton purse containing an Olympus camera from the other vehicle.
Feb. 3: Stolen Vehicle, 600 block of Greenbriar Lane
- An unknown subject removed a silver 2004 Buick Century from in front of the residence. The victim left the vehicle running with the key in the ignition and the doors unlocked to warm the vehicle up.
