Annapolis Rec Center Offers an Open House
Need help with that resolution? See if the city's facility is a good fit.
Does your New Year’s resolution focus on increasing your health and overall fitness?
The Pip Moyer Recreation Center is offering an open house to give you a chance to see if the Annapolis Recreation and Parks Department facility is a good fit to do just that.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, you can tour the rec center for free. There will be information on memberships, 15 percent off annual memberships and a 20-visit punch card, as well as multiple raffle drawings and even a birthday cake, according to a release from the city.
You can walk the indoor track, play in the Ballocity indoor playground, enjoy the open gym or climb the rock wall, according to a release.
The center includes three indoor basketball courts, an indoor track, an auxiliary gym, a rock-climbing wall, cardio and strength training equipment, group exercise classes, personal training, babysitting and multipurpose rooms for meetings or parties.
For more information, call 410-263-7958 or visit www.annapolis.gov/recreation.
