Aruba Suspect Charged with Indecent Exposure at Hillman Garage

Gary Giordano, a Gaithersburg resident, was found naked with a woman inside a vehicle.

A man suspected in the disapperance of a woman in Aruba was arrested for indecent exposure in Annapolis last week.

At around 6 p.m. Friday, two bike patrol officers responded to a report of sexual activity in a vehicle at the Noah Hillman garage, police said.

Upon approaching a black Cadillac Escalade, the officers discovered Gary Giordano, 51, of Gaithersburg and Carol Bock of Tennessee on top of a mattress inside the vehicle, according to a police report.

One officer saw Bock lying on her left side with her left breast exposed and the other officer observed Giordano's genitals through the window as he was adjusting a towel around his midsection, the report states. The officers observed that he was completely nude when they asked him to get dressed.

The Escalade is registered to Giordano's Gaithersburg address in the 12400 block of Pueblo Road.

Both Giordano and Bock were arrested on site and charged with one count of indecent exposure each, police said.

"While we recognize that Mr. Giordano enjoys an infamous reputation, the Annapolis arrest was simply a matter of effective police work in response to citizen complaints," said Michael Pristoop, Annapolis police chief, in an email. "Officers took quick and appropriate action under the circumstances. Indecent exposure and other offensive conduct are intolerable, and the Annapolis Police Department will enforce the law."

Giordano was investigated in the disappearance of Maryland woman Robyn Gardner in Aruba last August, according to AOL Travel. He was her traveling companion.
