Best of: Annapolis Breakfast Spots

Who has the best breakfast in the Annapolis area?

Annapolis has no shortage of breakfast spots and everyone has their favorite.

Patch is giving you the chance to support yours with the first "Best Of" feature. There will be a new category each week.

For the first week, let's start with the most important (and many times, most delicious) meal of the day. What is your favorite breakfast spot around Annapolis?

Your opinion and vote will help decide the winner.

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results, reviews on Patch Places and comments in this article. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

Voting will be closed a 9 a.m. Friday and the winner will be announced at noon.

If your business is listed, learn how to "claim it" for free by reading this post.

Do you know a local business missing from the list? Write it in the comments and we'll see about adding it to the contest.

49 West should be on the list.

What about Leeward Market in Eastport? Freshly baked goods, local produce and eggs. We love it!

Thanks for the suggestions. I've added 49 West and Leeward Market to the list, but unfortunately not Monica's mom. She'd obviously be a shoe-in and walk away with the win, hands-down. Though I am open to trying your mom's breakfast, haha. Remember to get your vote in and share your favorable comments. Thanks.

Unfortunately, Annapolis doesn't have a really great breakfast spot. Blue Moon Cafe in Baltimore? Now, there's a really great breakfast spot. It's never, ever disappointed. I will give Miss Shirley's another try, but I was underwhelmed by their breakfast on my first visit. Same with Eggcellence, particularly their watery, bland preserves and humdrum toast from a plastic bag. Grump's is close to great because of its local, at-home feeling. You feel like you'll run into friends when you go there.
