It wasn't until closer inspection of some of the artwork on display at Starbucks inside Barnes and Noble in the Annapolis Harbour Center that I realized it was all done by Anne Arundel County Public School students.
Then I realized students from pre-K to fifth grade created it all. Needless to say all of it puts my old creations to shame, which would explain why mine were relegated to my mom's fridge and these artists' work have a public viewing.
The student art exhibit, Winter Wonderland, is scheduled to run through Jan. 3. There's also an artists' reception scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
So stop on over, grab a cup of your favorite concoction and peruse the holiday-themed artwork.
