Jeep Destroyed by Fire in Gotts Garage

Police and fire officials are investigating how this Jeep caught fire in Gotts Garage.
Police said this Jeep burned early Monday morning in Gotts Garage.
According to a police report, the attendant working at Gotts Garage heard a few "loud pops" before discovering the Jeep on fire.
Police said the owner of the Jeep suffered minor burns to his hands.
A Queenstown man said he returned to his Jeep at about 2:30 a.m. Monday in Gotts Garage and discovered it burning.
The owner of this Jeep told police that he had been at Stan and Joe's Saloon moments before returning to his Jeep and finding ablaze.

Annapolis police responded to the report of a burning Jeep Wrangler on the top floor of Gott's Court Parking Garage early Monday morning.

According to a police report, officers responded to a call at about 2:30 a.m. Monday. The fire department was already on the scene and had the flames under control.

Police said the Jeep is registered to John Sinner, 46, of Queenstown. An officer said Sinner suffered minor burns to his hands.

Police said the garage attendant said he saw Sinner walk into the garage moments before he heard a few "loud pops" come from the upper levels of the garage.

The attendant investigated the noise and told an officer he saw Sinner near his vehicle and that he told him that he had burned his hands, according to the report.

Police said Sinner told an officer he had just returned from Stan and Joe's Saloon and "found it" on fire. There is no indication of how the Jeep caught on fire.

He was transported by ambulance to Anne Arundel Medical Center and treated for his burns.
