One of your awesome photos of life around the Chesapeake Bay could earn you a quick $250.

Your photo could be used as the cover of the 2011 Chesapeake Bay Report Card, according to a release. The report card is published annually by Ecocheck, a partnership between the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

"Last year was memorable for the weather, the lack of sea nettles and, of course, your experiences on and around the bay," officials said in the release. "Take a few minutes to look back on what you enjoyed last year and share those memories with us—weather events, water-quality monitoring or that monster fish that you caught."

Photos should be submitted by March 15.
