Construction To Start on Annapolis Commons
St. John Properties will build a 28-acre mixed-use business community off Harry S. Truman Parkway near the intersection of Riva Road.
The first phase of a new business community named Annapolis Commons is under construction and expected to be complete in 2014.
St. John Properties will offer more than 200,000 square feet of space in five buildings. The 28-acre mixed-use community is located off Harry S. Truman Parkway, near the intersection of Riva Road, not far from where the county farmers market is held.
The community will be adjacent to Anne Arundel County government offices, and across Riva Road from another St. John development, the Annapolis Technology Park.
According to St. John, the first phase of the development plan consists of:
- A two-story, 63,000-square-foot office building
- A single-story, 32,000-square-foot office building

How sad -- bulldozing another forest. Abuts some wonderfully wooded hiking trails, lots of creek headwaters in there, will be sad to see them go. Anyone investigating the land use regulations here, similar to the opponents of Crystal Spring?

Has anyone noticed all of the vacant commercial buildings on West St, Forest Dr & Maryland Ave. One would think something should be done with that before taking down more woods.
