'From The Bay, For The Bay' Kicks Off Sunday

The week-long effort features fresh Maryland seafood dishes at area restaurants and raises money for the Oyster Recovery Partnership.

Starting Sunday, more than 200 restaurants in the region—including several in Annapolis—will take part in "From the Bay, For the Bay."

As part of this week-long effort, participating restaurants will offer dishes featuring Maryland seafood. Each participating restaurant will donate $1 from the purchase of Mayland seafood dinner sold to the Oyster Recovery Partnership, according to the Maryland Department of Natural Resources website.

Restaurants in Annapolis participating include: Boatyard Bar and Grill, Buddy's Crabs and Ribs, Rockfish, The Wild Orchid, Sam's on the Waterfront and Hell Point Seafood. For a full list of participating restaurants, visit DNR"s website.

Gov. Martin O'Malley will kick off the week on Friday by eating fresh Maryland seafood at Hell Point Seafood.

What do you think the governor will eat? What's your favorite meal at Hell Point Seafood?
