Handicap Placard Stolen From Unlocked Car
Annapolis police said someone took the placard while its 82-year-old owner was shopping for groceries.
An 82-year-old man had his handicap placard stolen from his car while shopping for groceries at the Safeway on Forest Drive, according to Annapolis police.
The man told police he entered the store around 9:30 a.m. on Friday and left his car doors unlocked. He returned to his car about 15 minutes later and discovered that his handicap placard issued by Maryland's Motor Vehicle Association was missing.
Nothing else was stolen or tampered with, according to the police report.
