Kol Shalom Earns International Grant
The Annapolis congregation has been recognized for its Israel Dialogue, a series of structured discussions featuring various prominent speakers.
Congregation Kol Shalom of Annapolis recently received a grant for its series of discussions on current issues in Israel.
The local congregation was the only one in the Washington, DC-Maryland region to receive the honor, according to a release. Kol Shalom is to receive the international Ma'alot Award, which funds Israel-related programming at synagogues throughout North America, according to the release.
The $900 award was given jointly by the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism and the Israel-affiliated Nefesh b’Nefesh agency, according to the release.
