Man Commits Armed Robbery at Annapolis Hotel

Police used search dogs but were unable to locate the suspect.

 

A man used a gun to steal money from the Holiday Inn Express in Annapolis on Saturday night, according to Anne Arundel County police.

At about 8 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded to the Holiday Inn Express at 2451 Riva Rd. in Annapolis for a report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, police learned that a man entered the building, showed a handgun and demanded money from a hotel employee, according to a press release.

The hotel clerk complied and the suspect then fled on foot, police said.

County officers and an Annapolis City K-9 unit searched the area but did not locate the suspect.
