Man Robbed By Six-Member Group in Annapolis
An Annapolis man was robbed and beaten by six people he said he didn't know while walking home early Friday morning.
A man was robbed and beaten by a group of six people while he was walking home in the 1000 block Madison Street at 1:30 a.m. Friday, Annapolis police said.
The man told police three men and three women, who he said he didn't know, approached him Friday morning and asked for cigarettes. When he refused, the three men punched him and took his wallet. They took $300 before running down Madison Street towards President Street, police said.
Police said the man declined medical treatment.
