Man Robs 7-Eleven on Defense Highway at Gunpoint

Police say a man made off with an undisclosed amount of money from the register.

A man reportedly used a gun to rob the 7-Eleven on Defense Highway early Saturday morning, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

Officers responded to the convenience store around 1:55 a.m. on Saturday for a report of an armed robbery. Police said the man approached the counter, displayed a gun and demanded money.

The clerk told police she gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash from the register, and then the suspect fled in an unknown direction.

Police described the suspect as a white man, between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, 150 to 180 pounds, and wearing black shoes with green soles.

A cashier working the night shift at the 7-Eleven on Forest Drive was also the victim of an armed robbery in September.

Anyone who recognizes the man in the pictures or has information regarding the robbery should contact Detective Damion Dzambo of the Robbery Unit at 410-222-3605 ext. 3566.
