Man Stabbed 4 Times While Walking Home

Police said they found the man in a blood-soaked shirt at State Circle.

A 42-year-old Annapolis man suffered life threatening injuries after someone repeatedly stabbed him while he was walking home around midnight on Monday.

Police responded to State Circle for report of a stabbing and discovered a man sitting on the curb—his white shirt soaked in blood, Police said.

Someone stabbed the man four times, and police said he was "bleeding profusely" when they arrived on scene.

The man told police he watched a football game at a friend's house before heading home on foot shortly before midnight. He was passing by the Arundel Center at 44 Calvert St. when someone approached him from behind and attacked him.

He told police he didn't get a good look at his attacker.

The man was taken to Baltimore Shock Trauma for treatment.
