Man Steals Wallet After Forcing Way Into Home
The homeowner told Annapolis police that a man knocked on his door claiming to be owed money for raking leaves.
Annapolis Police are looking for a man who reportedly forced his way into a home in the 1100 block of Tyler Avenue after claiming he was owed money for yard work.
The homeowner told police that a man came to his door on Thursday around 7 p.m. saying he cleaned up leaves in the yard for the homeowner's son but was never paid.
The owner reportedly responded by saying he didn't know anything about the arrangement. He told police that the man then forced his way into the kitchen but left when he threatened to call the police.
After the man left, the homeowner realized his wallet was missing from the kitchen.
