Cashier Foils Attempted Toy Store Robbery

Police say an armed man attempted to rob Fun For All on West Street in Annapolis.

A man armed with a handgun attempted to rob the Fun For All toy store at 32 West St. on Monday, according to Annapolis Police.

The man entered the store with a knit mask covering his face and walked directly to the front counter around 6:30 p.m., police said.

The cashier told police that the man pulled out a handgun and demanded money.

The cashier resisted and attempted to knock the gun from the man's hand, police said. A struggle ensued, and the man then ran out the front door.

Police said the cashier was not hurt and the man didn't take anything from the store.
