Pedestrian Struck By Car on Forest Drive
A 27-year-old woman suffered injuries Friday morning.
A motorist hit a 27-year-old woman at the corner of Forest Drive and Marda Lane just after 6 a.m. Friday, said city of Annapolis Fire Department spokesman Tony Spencer.
Helicopter assistance was requested, but "because of the injuries and the time it would have taken for the helicopter arrive, the paramedics took her by ground transportation University of Maryland's Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore," Spencer said.
The extent and seriousness of her injuries is not known as this time.

Needs clarification: Was it an actual "pedestrian" or one of the usual hoodrats slowly shuffling across Forest Drive, needlessly endangering herself and others?
