Police Arrest Suspect in Triple Stabbing
Marcus Levon Freeman, 25, of Annapolis, was arrested Friday in connection with three stabbings that took place in Woodside Gardens.
A man accused of stabbing three people Friday inside a Woodside Gardens apartment in the 700 block of Newtowne Drive has been arrested by Annapolis Police.
Marcus Levon Freeman, 25, of Annapolis, was arrested around 8:15p.m. Thursday. He is charged with multiple crimes, including one count of attempted second-degree murder and three counts of first-degree assault.
The altercation occurred around 3:15 p.m Friday when Freeman reportedly stabbed an 18-year-old woman in the leg, a 20-year-old man in the chest and an 18-year-old man in the leg.
Police said all victims sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Battalion Chief John Menassa intially reported only two victims Friday afternoon because only two victims were transported by ambulance to the hospital. The 18-year-old man arrived at Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC) on his own.
The female victim was taken by ambulance to Anne Arundel Medical Center as well. Emergency services took the 20-year-old male victim to Prince George's Trauma Center.
A motive for the multiple stabbing is not known at this time. The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
