New Photos of Suspect in Identity Theft

Police release photos of suspect at two BB&T locations.

The Annapolis Police Department (APD) is looking for a person they say cashed a check using someone else's identity at the BB&T Bank at 101 Hillsmere Dr. on Sept. 28.

According to police, the suspect walked into the bank and cashed a $4,500 check using the name "David Baker." Police say the suspect had identification with the same name, but did not know what type of ID it was.

Police say the person tried to make another withdrawal at a different BB&T location on Riva Road but was denied.

The APD is asking residents for their help in identifying the person in these photos. The department urges anyone who might recognize the suspect or have knowledge of this case to please call Det. Charles Bealefeld at 410-268-9000 ext. 7299 or 443-986-5561.

This story has been updated to include photos of the suspect at the BB&T on Riva Road on Sept. 29
