Cold Turkey 10K
When/Where: 
8:30 a.m. Sunday (Nov. 18) at South River High, Edgewater
Details: 
$20 payable on race day; Annapolis Striders event in memory of Kati Fisher

Fort Meade Run Series: Turkey Trot 5K
When/Where:
8 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 17) at Murphy Field House at Fort Meade
Details:
$25 cash only; online registration is already closed—register on site the day of the race

Girl Scout Turkey Trot 5K: Run for Your Cookies
When/Where:
8:30 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 17) at Piney Orchard Community Center, Odenton
Details: $25 includes T-shirt and gift bag; benefits Girl Scout Troop 5000, which has set a goal of visiting the Dolphin Research Center in Florida; the girls hope to learn about conservation and marine life

AACC's Turkey Trot
When/Where: Nov. 21 at Siegert Field at Anne Arundel Community College (AACC), Arnold
Details: $20 for 5K, $10 for 1-mile jaunt; participants are asked to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the AACC Food Pantry, which can be dropped off at the registration table

6th Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Trot
When/Where: 9 a.m. Nov. 22 at Fleet Feet Sports Annapolis, 318 6th Street, Annapolis
Details: Asking for a $5 donation per runner that goes to The Annapolis Outreach Center; all participants who dress as a turkey will be entered to win a grand prize 

Archbishop Spalding Cavalier Turkey Trot
When/Where: 8:30 a.m. Nov. 22 at Kinder Farm Park, Millersville
Details: $15 race day registration; all proceeds will benefit Spalding’s cross country and track programs

13th Annual Camp Letts Turkey Chase
When/Where:
9 a.m. Nov. 22 at Camp Letts, Edgewater
Details: $35 for 5K, $40 for 10K; Turkey Chase proceeds go to assist underpriviledged children through the Caring for Community program

Thanksgiving Morning 5K Turkey Trot to Benefit LARS
When/Where:
8 a.m. Nov. 22 at the First United Methodist Church, Laurel
Details:
$30 race day registration; 5K and 1 mile fun walk; benefits Laurel Advocacy & Referral Services (LARS)

Tom's 5K Reindeer Run
When/Where:
9 a.m. Nov. 24 at West Laurel Community Building, Laurel
Details:
$35 race day registration; fun, family event held in memory of Tom Linsenmeyer; proceeds from the race go to Sarah's House in Fort Meade; refreshments and music; hang out with Santa following the race
