Readers' Choice: Annapolis Area Florists

Where do you go when you want top-notch flowers?

A good florist can save a man's life.

What do I mean? I'm talking about the last-minute husband who's driving home from work when he realizes it's his three-year anniversary and he hasn't done anything in preparation.

That's where a great florist comes in handy.

Sure, you may spend more money at a florist than the local grocery store but arrangements by professional florists really make a lady feel special. It's worked for me so far—although I haven't forgotten any anniversaries yet.

Whether you're a man looking to woo your significant other or someone who just loves a lovely bouquet, where do you go locally when you need top-notch flowers?

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results, reviews on Patch Places and comments in this article. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

Voting will be closed a 9 a.m. Friday and the winner will be announced at noon.

If your business is listed, learn how to "claim it" for free by reading this post.

Do you know a local business missing from the list? Write it in the comments and we'll see about adding it to the contest.

I agree, Blooms Florist has the charm of a small family owned shop, but the product of a huge corporation! They are not only creative and personal, but also professional.

Blooms?! In Edgewater? Joking right?! Terrible service on two ocassions. My baby girl and I were greeted at the door by a mean little barking dog who may have wanted to attack ...I didn't give him/her a chance and refused to open the door till the two women in the store tended to their animal. I like pets ...however I don't walk upon dogs I don't know unassumingly....esp. w/ my baby in tow. Such poor service ...the ladies never moved...kept talking and ignored the two customers at their door. in todays recession? the customer service was wrong and seemed discriminatory. They finally broke from their convo to come to the store front to shoo the dog to the back ...never opened the door to help me roll the stroller in...never smiled or apologized or even greeted me for that matter...just walked into the back of the store to tend to this convo. I felt wronged but am stubborn.(really wanted to get mom flowers).but chose not to after such poor customer service shown with a side of lack of respect. So I left and shared the story with my mom. She had a negative experience with blooms sending the wrong poor looking flower arrangements. so our
experience does not match the credit being given in this article.
respect. Instead of politely telling the store clerks about themselves
