For young children or even adults Pigtails and Crew cuts is wonderful. It's all about distractions and our 2 year old son seems to find it one of the more comfortable places to actually focus on letting someone cut his hair. The hair dressers are the kindest and most patient people willing to put them self in the line of fire when your child starts wailing. Yes, they have been wonderful. We tried taking our son somewhere else, but that was not good - twice.. and I think we scared the hair dresser and ended up with bad hair cuts both times. Whereas Pigtails and Crewcuts did a great job and he looks adorable. They also run all sorts of specials (punch card, mommy/daddy hair cuts available, birthday party room?, lots of cute stuff to buy, a train table while you wait for kids to play with, a treasure chest of goodies for once they are done, movies playing at every station, fun atmosphere).
