Readers' Choice: Celebrate St. Patrick's at Galway Bay
Patch readers have selected Galway Bay Irish Pub as their favorite place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Annapolis.
At Galway Bay Irish Pub, every day feels like St. Patrick's Day.
That's why Patch readers voted it their favorite place in Annapolis to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. The pub on Maryland Avenue puts it simply on its website: "A taste of Ireland is all about friendly surroundings and an immediate sense of feeling right at home."
"What a wonderful way to be recognized coming up on the biggest Irish day in the US," Anthony Clarke, the pub's co-owner said in an email. "We would like to thank all of our regular patrons and the greater Annapolis community for their continued support over the last 14 years and we look forward to providing great Irish culture, food and beverages to our good neighbors for many years to come.
"Slainte and best wishes for a great St Patrick's weekend."
And the party starts early on Saturday with Irish breakfast specials and entertainment getting under way at noon.
St. Patrick's Day schedule:
- Noon–6 p.m.—Ray Weaver
- 6–11:30 p.m.—Dermot Power
- $5 cover starts at 2 p.m.
- Special menus throughout the day.
