Scenes from Greater Annapolis

In case you missed it, Patch didn't. Take a look at what was happening around Greater Annapolis in the past week.

Every day there is so much going on in Greater Annapolis and Patch is out there with cameras at the ready to help share just a slice of our local life. Check back each week for a photo gallery of local events, people and places.

What could be more reflective of Annapolis then a slideshow of kids learning to sail? That's right, we braved the heat and humidity to visit KidShip Sailing School, a division of Annapolis Sailing School.

The thing is, even though we thought it was HOT—really, really HOT—kids, being kids, didn't seem to notice. They were having way too much fun swimming, learning and, of course, sailing.

The other surprise was the distance some campers came from to attend KidShip—some from across the big pond.
