Sweet Frog, a frozen yogurt chain, has taken a corner space at the Annapolis Harbour Center, next to Bubbles. 

Sweet Frog, headquarted in Richmond, VA, opened another location in the fall less than three miles away in Edgewater.  

In the other direction and a little more than a mile away, at the Annapolis Towne Centre, is the locally-owned franchise of Menchie's.

Both Menchie's and Sweet Frog have the same self-serve concept, offering a variety of frozen yogurt flavors, with assorted mix-in toppings. 

Factoring in Cold Stone Creamery, located in the Village at Lee Airpark  shopping center in Edgewater, which also offers frozen yogurt, this gives fans of the treat a few choices, all of which are a short distance from one another.

According to its website, Sweet Frog was started in 2009 and "was founded on the principles of Christianity." It has 20 locations in Maryland, including those slated as opening soon.

There's no word on when the Annapolis Harbour Center will be opening and no one from Sweet Frog was immediately available to answer questions. 

Their initial Facebook post, made on Oct. 31, 2012, states, "Hello, Annapolis froggers!! We're so excited to be setting up shop here; we should be up and running by the middle of December! We can't wait to start serving you the creamiest, yummiest yogurt you've ever tasted :)"
