Take 5: Barista Steve Wright
Patch would like to introduce you to someone new from Annapolis with a round of five questions, helping shed a little light on our community.
Meet Steve Wright, a barista at Hard Bean Coffee and Booksellers in downtown Annapolis.
Patch: How long have you been a barista?
Wright: It will be 10 years in June. And all of those have been here.
Patch: What's the hardest drink to make?
Wright: Frappes, mostly because they have a lot to go into it. At the most, I've made six at one time.
Patch: What's your favorite drink?
Wright: I don't drink coffee all that much. It's mostly decaf nowadays. So I'd say a nice, iced decaf coffee.
Patch: What's the best part of your job?
Wright: The people I work with. I've seen many people come and go over the 10 years I've been here and I've never had a bad experience with any one of them.
Patch: If you could have a super power, what would it be and why?
Wright: Can I just say Spider-Man? He's always been my favorite superhero.
