Tools Stolen from Annapolis Construction Site

Police say someone stole $500 worth of tools from a construction site near Germantown Elementary.

A construction worker had $500 worth of tools stolen from a construction site near Germantown Elementary on Friday, according to Annapolis police.

Officers responded to the 1400 block of Cedar Park Road around noon. The man said that he left the site for lunch around 11 a.m. Friday. When he returned, the man told police his Milwaukee tool kit with hammer drill, impact driver, sawsall, flashlight and batteries was missing.

The man told police that he left his tools on a work car inside an interior room of the construction site.

Police located a witness who saw someone enter the site from Locust Avenue, look around and walk towards where the worker had left his tools. The witness didn't see the suspect leave with the tools.
