What's Closed on Presidents Day in Annapolis?

Anne Arundel County Public Schools and senior centers are closed Feb. 18, but trash and recycling curbside collection will occur on a normal schedule.

 

Here's a list of what is open and closed on Monday in Anne Arundel County and the city of Annapolis.

CLOSED

  • City and county government offices are closed
  • All Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) are closed
  • The county's waste management facilities, including the landfill and convenience centers, are closed
  • Senior centers are closed
  • Federal and state offices are closed
  • Banks are closed
  • Post offices are closed—no mail delivery

OPEN (or operating on a regular schedule)

  • County trash and recycling curbside collection will occur on a normal schedule
  • The city's recycling and refuse pickup will not be affected
  • Libraries and regional parks are open
  • Annapolis Transit will operate on a regular schedule
  • City parking meters will be in operation

According to the AccuWeather forecast for this weekend, there could be some scattered flurries on Sunday but Monday's forecast is mostly sunny with a high of 38 degrees.
