When Is It Time to Start Switching Out of 'Summer Mode?'
Greater Annapolis Patch invites you and your circle of friends to help build a community of support for mothers and their families with weekly topics.
Patch invites you and your circle of friends to help build a community of support for mothers and their families right here in Greater Annapolis. Each week in Moms Talk, our Moms Council of experts and smart moms take your questions, give advice and share solutions.
Moms, dads, grandparents and the diverse families who make up our community will have a new resource for questions about local neighborhood schools, the best pediatricians, 24-hour pharmacies and the thousands of other issues that arise while raising children.
Moms Talk also will be the place to drop in for a talk about the latest parenting hot topic.
The baseball All Star break is now behind us and that means summer is half over. We're winding down as Back To School sales are popping up.
In our house, we've already purchased most of the items on the back-to-school list for kindergarten and second grade. We've also figured out that just about all the uniforms from last year don't fit...of course.
Which leads us to this week's discussion: When do you start to turn back into "school mode?"
Are you already hitting back-to-school sales? Are you trying to get the kids back to a reasonable bedtime?
Or is it even offensive to talk about summer being over when there's still so much left?
So come on in, join the conversation and share your thoughts by leaving a comment below (note you must sign up to be a Patch user before you can make comments on the site).
Tune in next week for another question from our Greater Annapolis Moms Council or send your questions to editor firstname.lastname@example.org and put "Moms Talk" in the subject.
