Where to Celebrate New Year's 2013 in Annapolis

Many places around town offer celebrations to ring in the new year.

Susan Campell Park—The music starts at 8 p.m. with two fireworks displays at 7:30 p.m. and again at midnight. Boaters are asked to remember the 1,000-foot safety zone around the fireworks barge.

  • 2:45 p.m.—Annapolis Drum and Bugle Corps “Pied Piper”
  • 3-7 p.m.—Chesapeake Children’s Museum Reuse! Repurpose!
  • 3-7 p.m.—The “FacePaint Lady”
  • 4:30-5 p.m.—Magic show from Jack Julius
  • 5:30-6:30 p.m.—Goombay “Caribbean Experience”
  • 8 p.m.—Walking Sticks
  • 10 p.m.—Radio City Band

Red Red Wine Bar—Bar open to the public all night with a free champagne toast at midnight; $10 cover charge starts at 10 p.m.; Dinner seats are available by reservation only for $100 per person. For more information, click here.

Annapolis Bowl—Two-hour family parties can be booked from 4:30-6:30 p.m. or 7-9 p.m.; Gala with unlimited galaxy bowling from 9:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.; For more information, click here.

Ram's Head Tavern—Live music from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.; complimentary beer toast at midnight; lobster dinner special for $20

Federal House Bar & Grille—"Kick It Off" comedy show and dinner package from 7:30-9:30 p.m. for $49 per person; "Ring It In" comedy show and hors d'oeuvre package from 10:30 p.m. to 2013 for $25 per person; for more information, click here.

Hemlock FarmsSpurs and Furs party—The all inclusive party to benefit Food Link runs from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. and includes party favors, karaoke and a late night breakfast for $150 per person in advance or $200 per person at the door.
