A woman caught a man trying to break into a consignment shop specializing in kitchenware on Monday night, according to Annapolis Police.
The woman, who lives near the business, was leaving her apartment when she told police she saw a man trying to pry open a side window of The Back Burner on Bay Ridge Avenue.
She screamed at the man and asked him what he was doing, police said.
The man reportedly fled on foot towards the Eastport Fire Station.
