10th Annual Kid's 'n' Kaboodle will be held on Sunday June 3, 2012 at the Weems Whalen Memorial Athletic Fields (just down the path from the Chesapeake Children's Museum).

Kids ‘n’ Kaboodle is an annual activity hosted by the Chesapeake Children’s Museum for the children of Annapolis.   Some activities planned include arts and crafts, live animals, live entertainment, a book giveaway, career exploration stations and a toddler area.  Scheduled entertainment includes Mr. Derby's Nursery Jams, Annapolis Drum and Bugle Corps, Grady O’Quinlan Academy of Irish Dance and Uno, Dos, Tres con Andres!  There will also be a soccer demo by Adam Ritchie of Greater Experience Soccer Academy and a Martial Arts demo by Jing Ying Institute.  FREE food will be provided by Anne Arundel County Food and Resource Bank, and free transportation on Annapolis Transit is available for those attending the event.  Bus passes can be picked up at the Chesapeake Children’s Museum.

Chesapeake Children's Museum is located in the former Youth Services Bureau building at the head of Spa Creek with more than five acres of city owned park land.  Chesapeake Children's Museum strives to create an environment of discovery about oneself, the people, the technologies, and the ecology of the Chesapeake Bay area.  

This museum has eight exhibits within the museum and five outdoor exhibits that range from visual to interactive installations. Youth, adult, Girl Scout and Cub Scout workshops are available as well as membership plans.

Groups of 10 or more must schedule an appointment to visit. Wednesdays at the museum are reserved for groups only. The museum can also come to your youth group, school, birthday party or community event.  Call for details.
