Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre presents “Avenue Q”, a laugh-out-loud musical about a recent college graduate named Princeton and the challenges and breakthroughs he experiences as he starts out in life.

After moving into a shabby New York apartment all the way out on Avenue Q, Princeton meets Kate (the girl next door), Rod (the Republican), Trekkie (the internet sexpert), Lucy the Slut (need we say more?) and other colorful types who help him discover his purpose in life. Songs include "What Do You Do With a B.A. in English?" "Everyone's a Little Bit Racist," "The Internet is for Porn", "Purpose", and many more.

ASGT’s talented cast of nine human actors from across the Annapolis, Baltimore, Washington DC area is supplemented by a cast of eleven hilarious puppets, who help tell the story “Sesame Street” style.

Please note this show is Rated R. “Avenue Q” is great for teenagers because it's about real life. It may not be appropriate for young children because Avenue Q addresses issues like sex and drinking. Parents should use their discretion based on the maturity level of their children.
