 from 7pm-11pm\, as Food Link celebrates over 20 years of service helping

 ed Barn in Harness Creek\, a private home of a Food Link supporter and a
 ll proceeds from the event will be donated to Food Link\, Inc. The event
  is open to the public and will be held Rain or Shine.\n&nbsp\;\nGuests 
 can expect BBQ\, Beer\, Wine\, Live Music\, a silent and live auction. T
 he fun will also include a photo booth\, wine wheel and a beautiful suns
 et overlooking the South River is guaranteed.\n&nbsp\;\nJeans\, boots an
 d cowboy hats are the encouraged attire for the BLUE JEAN BASH.&nbsp\; P
 arking and shuttle will be available at Annapolis Middle School at the s
 econd Spa Rd entrance by the tennis courts.\n&nbsp\;\nThe continued succ

 it hunger relief and food rescue organization in Anne Arundel County and
  four counties on the Eastern Shore. Food Link\, Inc. provides immediate
  emergency food assistance and other essentials to individuals and famil

 sing their grandkids. More than 446\,000 Maryland residents live below t
 he national poverty line.&nbsp\; More than 25\,600 of these live in Anne
  Arundel County.\n&nbsp\;\nOne in Ten children in Maryland lives in Pove
 rty (over 135\,000 children)\n&nbsp\;\nHow Food Link has helped:\n\n15\,
 000 individuals and families receive assistance each month.&nbsp\; Of th
 ose served\, 45% are working individuals and families\, 34% are children
  and 20% are seniors\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nFood Link hands out 2.1 Million pound
 s of food each year in Anne Arundel County and 200\,000 pounds on the Ea
 stern Shore\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nWe have over 150 volunteers that contributed o
 ver 25\,838 hours of their time.&nbsp\; Volunteers who assist Food Link 
 have collected donated items from area grocers\, restaurants\, caterers\
 , growers and individuals.&nbsp\; This all happens in Anne Arundel\, Que
 en Anne\, Talbot\, Kent and Dorchester Counties.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nOnce the 
 food is collected\, Food Link organizes and facilitates the collection a
 nd delivers it directly to those who are in need. Nothing is warehoused.
 \n\n&nbsp\;\nPrograms\nRetail Food Rescue\nA wide variety of foods are d
 onated by grocers\, restaurants\, caterers\, food distribution services 
 and people like you.&nbsp\; Our volunteers pick up and distribute this f
 ood to recipient agencies\, charities and individuals.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbs
 p\; Individuals\, homeless shelters\, treatment centers\, foster care\, 
 group homes\, battered women's shelters\, and many others greatly benefi
 t from the Retail Food Rescue\, in Anne Arundel County and the Eastern S
 hore.\n&nbsp\;\nWholesale Produce Distribution\nEvery Friday* at the Mar
 yland Wholesale Produce Market in Riva\, a truck arrives with fresh prod
 uce and others bring items from stores like breads\, rolls\, etc for dis
 tribution through Food Link.&nbsp\; Doors open at 9:00AM and close when 
 we run out of food.&nbsp\; Located in Anne Arundel County.\nEmergency Ba
 by Pantry\nThe baby pantry provides free diapers\, formula\, clothes and
  other essentials for needy mothers and fathers to help them raise their
  babies. This is located in Anne Arundel County.\nThe Crisis/Caring Conn
 ection\nDuring a crisis Food Link has become the first stop for those in
  need and the last stop when traditional support programs are unable to 
 help.&nbsp\; Other programs may take weeks or even months to process req
 uests\, at Food Link offer immediate response to those in need of our su
 pport.&nbsp\; We help with eviction prevention\, utility shut-off preven
 tion\, prescription help\, motel help\, items for special needs children
 /families\, and so much more.&nbsp\; This help is only available in Anne
  Arundel County right now.\n&nbsp\;\nEstablished in 1991\, Food Link exi
 sts to help the poor in our community.&nbsp\; Food Link offers immediate
  help directly to families and individuals or by assisting caseworkers\,
  clergy and\, community activists.&nbsp\; With Food Link donations of go
 ods and services it allows our organization to support over 100 recipien
 t agencies and organizations.&nbsp\; A variety of people benefit from Fo
 od Link&rsquo\;s services: homeless shelters\, soup kitchens\, foster ca
 re groups\, emergency food pantries\, treatment and rehabilitation cente
 rs\, battered women's shelters\, senior citizen facilities\, newly unemp
 loyed\, single parent families\, children and the working poor.\n&nbsp\;
