February’s Folkie Friday concert will feature Lisa Moscatiello and Fred Lieder.  The duo was originally scheduled for the series premier in January, but illness kept them from appearing. So audiences now have a second chance to hear Lisa with her mesmerizing guitar and vocals and Fred accompanying her on cello on February 22. Two seatings are scheduled for 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Lisa Moscatiello is no stranger to the Annapolis folk music scene. Before she embarked on a grueling graduate degree at St. Johns College, she performed often to sell-out rooms at 49 West. Her lively side band The Space Dots brought her own brand of acid-jazz to the stage. Her last CD, “Trouble From The Start” earned Moscatiello four trophies at the Washington Area Music Awards, including album of the year. She has won more than 20 Wammies over the years.
