Golden Spades is a gardening group meeting once a month for garden enthusiasts age 50 and up, hosting a gardening seminar or workshop on a variety of gardening topics, sometimes a field trip. This is not a garden club; no dues are charged, no community service is required for members and take no roll is taken. A postcard or e-mail is sent to each member telling them of the coming month's program. Attendance is not mandatory, you make the meetings as your schedule allows. Each attendee will receive a discount coupon for a purchase at Homestead Gardens at every meeting.
