More About O'Brien's Oyster Bar & Restaurant
O'Briens, known as "Fran O'Brien's" to the old-timers, is synonomous with Annapolis. There are very few locals who haven't frequented the raw bar, restaurant, bar, or dance floor of this well-known establishment. The menu is classic American: burgers, wraps, steak and seafood. O'Brien's also has a raw bar and participates in many dining specials, which can be found on the restaurant's website.
This historic tavern has been part of the Annapolis scene, in various incarnations, since the 1700s. It became known as Fran O'Brien's in the 1970s, as it was owned by the former Washington Redskin. Today, O'Brien's is a mecca for everyone in Annapolis, from politicians to partiers.
