Author and local physician, Dr. Richard Bernstein will give a complimentary wellness talk on June 5th, from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. on the 7th floor of the Anne Arundel Medical Center’s Health Sciences Pavilion, conference room ‘E’. This event is open to the public and there is no charge for attendance. Topics for discussion include 5 simple keys to weight loss, how to feel better and have more energy and preventing the diseases of aging. More About Anne Arundel Medical Center
Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC) is a private non-profit hospital that serves Annapolis and surrounding areas. The 60-acre main campus, the Carl A. Brunetto Medical Park, sits along Jennifer Road near the Westfield Annapolis Mall.
AAMC was founded in 1902 as Annapolis Emergency Hospital. In 2001, the hospital moved from downtown Annapolis to its current location when the Acute Care Pavilion opened. An expansion of the main hospital is currently under construction and expected to be completed in 2011.
In addition to the Acute Care Pavilion, AAMC features the following at this location: Edwards Surgical Pavilion (outpatient procedures), Donner Pavilion (DeCesaris Cancer Institute), Clatanoff Pavilion (women's and children's care), Wayson Medical Office Pavilion and the Sajak Pavilion (Breast Center, Anne Arundel Diagnostics and physicians' offices).
