The Parents Advocacy Network is an independent group of parents working together to find innovative ways to improve Anne Arundel County public schools. Anyone interested in improving county schools is encouraged to attend.
After a short organizational meeting, attendees will break into groups to work on issues such as providing the right level of challenge to all students, reducing class sizes, delaying high school start times, and providing more support to victims of bullying. The Annapolis Area branch of the Anne Arundel County Library is full of activities each season. This branch also has Wi-Fi , book clubs and meeting rooms which can be rented out or used for free by certain non-profit and government groups.
