The Annapolis Lutheran Choir, under the direction of Dr. Jennifer Huang, along with a number of guest musicians will lead a service of special music on Christmas Eve at 7:30 prior to the regularly scheduled Christmas Eve Worship with Communion at 8pm.
Annapolis Lutheran will also be worshiping Christmas Morning at 10am with Holy Communion and on December 30th at the regular time of 9am.
All are invited to attend services at Annapolis Evangelical Lutheran Church weekly at Annapolis Area Christian School, Middle School Campus, 716 Bestgate Road.

New Director of Music Introduced at Annapolis Evangelical Lutheran Church
International Pianist-Harpsichordist, Dr. Zheng Jennifer Huang, accepts position
A native of China, Dr. Zheng Jennifer Huang, has performed numerous recitals and concerts as a pianist and harpsichordist in solo performances and chamber music ensembles in Asia, Europe and the United States.
As a concert pianist, Dr. Huang started to play the piano at age four. After graduating from The Xian Conservatory of Music, she attended The Hong Kong Academy for
Performing Arts where she obtained an Advanced Diploma in Piano Performance and second-prize in the 1996 Hong Kong Open Piano Competition for Asian Musicians. Dr. Huang studied at Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Ohio and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance. She earned a double Master's Degree, in Piano Performance and in Harpsichord performance, from the Mannes College of Music in New York. She received her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Harpsichord Performance at Stony Brook University, New
York.
“Jennifer is also a dedicated church musician” said Pastor Gerald Miller of Annapolis Lutheran. “She most recently held the position of music director at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Silver Spring Maryland and implemented a very successful musical program in the service of God”, he added.
Dr. Huang said “As the new Music Director at Annapolis Evangelical Lutheran Church in Annapolis, I have a strong desire to develop the church’s music program and to enrich the worship services with a variety of music styles and spiritual elements”.

More About Annapolis Area Christian School
The middle school Bestgate Road campus of Annapolis Area Christian School (AACS) serves students in grades 6 to 8. AACS provides a Christian education that will prepare students for high school and help them make life decisions. While class sizes vary depending on the subject, the maximum number of students per class is 25. AACS offers before- and after-school care.
Students wishing to apply may attend open houses (check the website or call the school office for details) and apply in the fall one year prior to when they would start at AACS. Note that the school requires that "all families must be involved in active fellowship with a Bible-believing church."
Younger AACS students from kindergarten readiness to grade 5 attend the lower school, which is located about five minutes away on Ridgely Avenue in Annapolis. The Severn Run upper school campus is located in west Anne Arundel County for AACS students in grades 9 through 12.
A shuttle serves all of the AACS campuses, and bus transportation may be available in some areas.
AACS provides K - 12 education. This location is its middle school.
