A quaint bistro will continue its presence in West Annapolis, after weighing its options to move, city officials said.
b.b. Bistro's owner, Carla Lucente, said she had looked at the possibility of moving to Annapolis Plaza on Jennifer Road, but decided to renew her lease at the current location, according to a press release from the City of Annapolis. Lucente said her customers pleaded with her to remain at her current location, where she has been serving dishes with local ingredients for the past seven years.
Annapolis Mayor Josh Cohen said he was thrilled the restaurant was remaining in West Annapolis.
“b.b. Bistro is a neighborhood treasure and Carla and her team exemplify locals in a sustainable entrepreneurship,” Mayor Cohen said. “I'm thrilled that she will remain part of the West Annapolis experience.”
