Still have lots of people to buy for this holiday season?
This Thursday night, Annapolis businesses are making it easier by keeping their doors open until midnight.
The annual event, , will feature holiday-themed music and shoppers will have a chance to win prizes, meet Santa at the Market House and take holiday photos, according to a recent press release from the Annapolis Business Association.
Many of the stores will also offer specials and sales, according to the release.
WRNR and WNAV will be live on air from City Dock, and there will be musical performances from The Salvation Army Band and the .
There are lots of other fun activities downtown before the “madness,” as noted in the release.
Annapolis Green Drinks will host its Christmas Party at the Maryland Inn at 5:30 p.m. There will also be a fundraising event at hosted by two of “Annapolis’ 40 Finest Under 40.” They’ll give you everything you need “for the perfect holiday photo,” even if that includes a tacky Christmas sweater, holiday props, or a date. In addition, shoppers can give back to local charities by purchasing a gift at the Gifts that Give Hope Gift Fair at on Maryland Avenue.
And if you don’t get the chance to buy everything you need at this week’s Midnight Madness, round two will take place on Dec. 15. That event will feature musical performances from the Annapolis School of Rock, the Wiley H. Bates Middle Performing Arts Chorus and others, according to the release.
