PHOTOS: Shoppers Take Advantage of Black Friday's Extra Hours

For hours before the stroke of midnight, shoppers lined up outside of stores throughout Parole to be the first to snag some Black Friday deals.

The first couple of people in line outside of in Parole at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday said they had been there since 3 p.m. Wednesday.

The next group in line said they'd been there since 9 p.m. Wednesday.

That may have been the extreme example, but shoppers also packed the parking lot of and a line of eager shoppers snaked around the second floor parking lot at in the .

Several entrances at also had lines outside of them leading up to the 12:01 a.m. Black Friday opening. Inside, people packed the halls, sitting on the floor waiting for individual stores to open.

WRNR also broadcasted live from midnight to 6 a.m. and awarded shoppers with swag bags and other discounts throughout the morning.
