Where in Greater Annapolis Do You Take Your Coffee?

Where do you go to relax with a nice cup of coffee and your laptop?

The other day I was waiting for my coffee (a large latte, skim milk, five Splendas, by the way) at in the Festival at Riva when I saw this sign.

I noticed it while waiting for my new email to load on my iPhone. That's when I decided to put my phone away for a little bit and just enjoy some conversation and few moments to take a breather.

I think Caffe Pronto is a great place to do just that. But then again, during my daily rounds as "The Patch Guy" I've found several spots around Greater Annapolis to meet readers or catch up on work.

I'm also a big fan of and to get my daily fill.

But I'm always on the lookout for a new favorite. So I turn to you, faithful reader, for help. Where should I try next?

What is your favorite coffee shop and what is your drink?

Aah Coffee Cafe in the Eastport Shopping Center (1015 Bay Ridge Ave.) has all the right stuff: tasty coffee, friendly and efficient service, cozy setting, Wi-Fi, plenty of free parking--and great bagels, imported from Bagels And on West St. Call me unadventurous. I'm a fan of their American coffee--with cream. (If I'm going to splurge, I'd rather have a hot fudge sundae or half an apple pie then a calorie-laden mocha-schmoca-latte-capuccino-macchiato with whipped cream.

Beth, good call. Aah Coffee is a great spot. Pretty comfy chairs if I recall correctly. I think I'll have to take your advice and stop by for a good old traditional coffee—cream, of course. Thanks.

John, I'm with you on Zu! Also a big fan of the (formerly Muddy Paws) Bark n'Bean next to Quiet Waters park. They don't have the big comfy chairs, but it's enjoyable to watch the dogs coming and going while you sit and have a sip, and you might even get inspired to take as stroll down the trail!

The Coffee Cottage on the Parking Lot of Rams Head Roadhouse on Generals Highway. The Coffee Cottage is there Monday - Saturday 6:00 am to 11:00 am. Not only great Coffee, Latte, Chi and Smoothes but great service with personality!
