St. John’s College tutor Dylan Casey will give a lecture titled “Surprises and Sweet Spots: On Discovery and Recognition” at St. John’s College. The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the Francis Scott Key Auditorium on Friday, February 8, at 8 p.m.
Casey received his bachelor of arts in political philosophy and bachelor of sciences in physics from Michigan State University. He received his masters in physics and his doctorate degree in experimental particle physics from the University of Rochester. He was a postdoctoral fellow in physics at Michigan State University from 1997 until 2001, when he joined the faculty at St. John’s College.
