Celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr/’s Birthday
with hands-on activities about the simple but complex topic of our skin color.  Why are we different and how are
we all the same?  Inspired by the picture
book “The Skin You Live In,” we will use common objects including potatoes and other items from the kitchen to demystify the subject of pigmentation.  Participants will bake and eat potato skins!  Yum!

Ages 7 to 12.
$8 per child.  Free for accompanying adults.
